    Is ChoreChart free?

    Yes. Registration and your family chore chart are free for now, with no credit card needed. If paid options are introduced later, you’ll be told before choosing one. You won’t be automatically charged.

    Does everyone need an account?

    No. A parent or carer creates one family account. Add family members by first name or nickname, then create a personal helper link in Manage family. Helpers can open their own chart and mark their tasks, without changing the list. They don’t need an email address or password. Keep the parent login for parents and carers.

    Do we need to download an app?

    No. ChoreChart works in your web browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Just sign in to open your family’s saved chart and tick off the jobs online.

    How do points and rewards work?

    Points and rewards are optional for each chart. Switch them on during setup or in Manage family, then choose points for each chore and reward goals for each child. A completed job earns its points once. Switching rewards off pauses new points and keeps your saved balances and goals. Claiming a reward spends its points. Rewards are organised by your family; ChoreChart doesn’t provide prizes.

    ChoreChart is a standalone business owned by The Farmers Lot Pty. Ltd.

    What we store

    Your account email, family name, a protected password, a protected recovery code, the names or nicknames you add, your chores, chart settings, completion symbols, optional points and rewards, family time zone and protected helper-link details. Please use nicknames instead of children’s full names and leave sensitive information out of chore and reward descriptions.

    Why we store it

    To sign you in, save your chart and show it on the devices where you use your family account. Your chart is only available after signing in. Anyone you give your parent login to can view and change the whole chart. A helper link only allows access to that helper’s tasks and rewards, and permission to mark their tasks. You can disable or replace a helper link in Manage family.

    Account support

    The website manager can see account email addresses and family account names, block or unblock accounts, issue private access-reset links, and export account email addresses for administration. Registration does not give consent to marketing emails. Manager actions are recorded with account IDs and dates; passwords and recovery codes are never shown.

    Cookies and security

    We use an essential session cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms. This website has no advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Limited hashed network identifiers are kept temporarily to help prevent repeated login attempts. Our hosting provider may also maintain server access logs.

    Your choices

    You can change or remove chores and family members from your chart. Signed-in parents and carers can download their information or delete their account below. Account deletion removes the active account and its chart; copies in hosting or maintenance backups may remain until those backups are replaced or removed.
